Why Ghee Coffee Is A Growing Trend And How You Can Make It

Many people are big fans of ghee coffee, as it gives them a dose of healthy fats to start their morning off the right way.

Some people drink ghee coffee instead of having breakfast to avoid eating meals high in carbs soon after they wake up. This is ideal for anyone on low-carb diets, such as Atkins or Keto.

The beverage also has a nutty, sweet flavour, levelling up cups of coffee, while enabling those sensitive to lactose to skip spoonfuls of sugar instead.

There are also health benefits to having ghee, such as strengthening immune systems, providing essential vitamins, aiding digestion, good cholesterol, and being anti-inflammatory.

It also contains butyric acid, which is an anti-cancer constituent.

The great thing about trying ghee coffee is that it is incredibly easy to make. All you need is a fresh brew, a blender and coffee mug, and one to two teaspoons of organic ghee

Simply combine the coffee and ghee in a blender and mix for around 20 to 30 seconds. It should end up looking like a cappuccino, with a layer of froth on top.

Someone who tried drinking ghee coffee every day for a month and became a big fan was Sonakshi Kohli.

Writing for Health Shots, she said the drink helped her lose weight, suppressed her appetite, improved her gut health, gave her energy, and made her workouts more productive, which also aided her weight loss.
